    Great connections
Every Neighbour apartment community will be located a short walk from public transport and no more than a 60-minute door-to-door commute from the city centre by rail or tube. In London, we’re targeting areas like Dagenham, Luton, Eltham and West Croydon – local areas where there is already good infrastructure and where further improvements are on the way. It means our residents benefit from good transport and amenities, while our presence will benefit the local community, by bringing a well-designed new residential landmark. Our investors will benefit, too, because of these areas’ good capital growth.
49% of renters say being close to work or university is the most important thing to them when choosing a home.

    Insert your life
We’ve thought about how to equip our apartments with features that will make them more adaptable. Like a sliding door that can instantly divide a living area, for example, creating a private workspace or temporary guest suite. In some cases, we can even make semi-permanent changes to the floor plan to suit your needs. Need more bedrooms or a larger family room than looks possible on our standard floor plans? Talk to us about the possibilities.
‘I rented for years and I loved it — no responsibilities, no clearing of gutters. It left me free to actually enjoy my life.’

You’re in control

The do-it-yourself lease.

15/ You’re in control
At Neighbour, we believe every lease should be as unique as the household it pertains to. That’s why we’re introducing the DIY lease. You set the length, whether it’s six months, 36 months or a hundred years. With the option of longer tenancies, our residents can feel more secure. Meanwhile higher occupancy rates will help us to build a thriving and sustainable business that can go on for many years. The amount of rent that you pay will only ever go up in line with inflation – so, no surprise leaps. And you’ll have the option to seamlessly transfer your lease to a different Neighbour apartment, if your household size changes or you want a change of scenery.

16/ Easy to book parking
Our sophisticated online booking system for parking spaces will allow you to book a space for the length of time you need it, whether it’s for a matter of hours, days or indefinitely. You can even book a parking space for a guest.
24% of people who rent say the main reason they choose to rent is because of the flexibility.

Perfect-fit storage

On-site storage units in a variety of sizes.

17/ Perfect-fit storage
We're slotting in storage units throughout our buildings, to give residents a choice whenever they've got more stuff than will fit in their place. Best of all, your stuff will be close-by. Pop down and access it whenever you want. Book a space that’s a good fit for your things, and keep it for as long or as short a time as you like. Your Neighbour smart card will unlock it. This is about using design to get more from our buildings. We’ve thought carefully about how and where to place storage, often utilising space that wouldn’t otherwise be put to much use.

Holiday cover

18/ Holiday cover
We know how tough it can be for city dwellers to find someone to look after your place when you go on holiday or have to be away for extended periods on business. With our apartment minding service, you can count on us to make a daily or weekly visit to feed your cats, water your houseplants (according to the instructions you leave us) and generally check that everything’s secure and in order. Fees are set according to a reasonable pricing structure. Meanwhile you can enjoy your travels without worries. We'll even send regular text message updates, if you want that.
19/ Free wi-fi throughout
Wireless internet will be completely free for residents at all of our locations. It means there's never any need to be tethered to your apartment, even on days when you are working from home. And that you can roam freely with your laptop or mobile device even on your days off.
In London, 29% of households are in the private rented sector – an increase of 79% since 2001.

    The My Neighbour app
On the My Neighbour app, you’ll be able to check your Neighbour account in real time, pay bills, book a parking space, book a shared car, cancel your cleaner, and perform many other useful tasks. It means you can take care of your household affairs from anywhere. On the train. During your lunch break. We’re working with a trusted technology partner to make the app easy and intuitive to use. Because the better the app is, the more likely our residents are to find it valuable – and regularly use it. And that means we can offer great service with lower
By removing some of the administrative costs from our services we’re able to offer residents even more value for their money.
